Because it is actually built into the hillside, you get the feel of being in a sort of cave or cavern while inside, it even has that "cave" smell (if you have ever been inside an underground cave, you know what I'm talking about), and the air inside was noticeably cooler. Our voices echoed back to us inside the cavernous, dark space. Can you just imagine venturing into this place at night?? First of all, I just loved the way this place looked... nestled in the crook of the lonely back road. It's so foreboding. I also liked the big rusty... thingy outside the building (pics below)... I have nooooo idea what this structure is, but it sure does look wicked-cool. I even braved the rusty old ladder ...
