Blatino Model, Zeric, Disses Black & Latin Men As "In The Scene" and "Messy" In Interview Tube. Duration : 19.08 Mins.

Days after 3LWTV's Lonnell Williams posted his year in review video over his monumental moments of 2011, one last video that posted days after caused a firestorm of controversy courtesy of TV personality Zeric Toda. The "Model City" reality-TV star and actor became a fixture on the BET Centric cable network as he openly revealed his homosexuality as the show began its promo run. Zeric Toda's suave manly appearance and candor won fans in the LGBT community for being a role model to Black gay men in a Black TV network. Conversely, this 3LWTV exclusive interview that delved deeply into his relationship preference and self-esteem seemed to have tarnished his image and popularity amongst LGBT men of color. Originally labeling himself as a playboy early in the interview, when asked about being in a relationship, Zeric describes his current six-year relationship with an Italian man. While some viewers may be taken aback by the Black & Cuban model's interracial relationship, the model's unabashed "points of view" about his disdain for dating Black and Latino "boys" versus men of his preference set off a major backlash of comments by viewers who collectively deemed his comments as throwing the races of his demographic under the bus while putting a different race on a higher pedestal. Even Williams warned Zeric in the episode about the effect his comments can stir amongst viewers which the model carried on with his excluding crusade. The video interview is a must-see.
