Carrier Weathermaker 9200 Furnace (not running) and Carrier Air Conditoner (running). I am not sure what year this system was installed but i am guessing it was about 2001 or 2002. The only problem this air conditioner has ever had was a blown run capacitor. It was very hot a few weeks ago and the air conditioning was running and it started blowing warm air. So the people who live there had to call a HVAC tech to come out and fix it because it was probably about 94 degrees that day and the house this unit is installed at was built in the late 1930s and was not designed for air conditioning so all of the air returns are on the floor and so are the registers. So the unit would continue to run and the temp in the house would not drop below about 81 degrees because all of the cooled air would go right to the air returns and never pass the thermostat. But we did solve that problem by buying a pedestal fan and turning it on when the air conditioning is running and now the air conditioning always shuts off and cycles like it should and the temp will go below 80 degrees.
